About Veland Auto

The story of Veland Auto really began back in 1995. As a 19-year-old German student, Trond Veland went to the bank to explore financing a car import business. No company came of it then, but the idea was born.

After years of studies and various sales jobs, the idea became reality in 2011. The sole proprietorship Autosalg Trond Veland was founded, sales took place in the farmyard and the kitchen table was the sales office.

Veland Auto AS was founded in 2012. Sales grew fast, and the newly built showroom at Sulfatveien 2 opened in 2013. In 2016 the company was nominated for the Gazelle list in Østfold after 399 percent revenue growth over four years, and repeated it in 2017 and 2018. In 2021 revenue passed 100 million NOK for the first time. Since starting in 2012, Veland Auto has delivered several thousand cars to happy customers all over Norway.

The key has been low costs and hard work, so we can offer newer cars at low prices. But the main reason Veland Auto has a good name is our customers. We are here for you before and after the purchase.
